Dublin’s music scene is about to get a bold new heartbeat. Tune Hoppers, a collective dedicated to amplifying raw talent and fostering creative connections, is thrilled to announce its inaugural event: Out of Order – A Night of Music, Creativity, and Connection. Slated for February 20, 2025, at the iconic Fibber Magees Basement, this electrifying evening promises to spotlight emerging artists while celebrating Dublin’s vibrant musical diversity.
Tune Hoppers was born from a simple belief: every artist deserves a stage. Whether they’re strumming a guitar on a street corner or crafting beats in a bedroom studio, undiscovered talent fuels the soul of music. Out of Order breaks the conventional mold, offering a platform where passion trumps polish and authenticity shines brighter than perfection. This event isn’t just a concert—it’s a movement. A chance for artists to leap from obscurity to the spotlight, and for audiences to witness the birth of something extraordinary.
The night’s lineup is a testament to Dublin’s eclectic soundscape, blending indie soul, electronic pulses, and unplugged vulnerability. Leading the charge are five acts poised to leave their mark:
Kicking off the night is Spotlight Unplugged, a segment designed to uplift budding artists. First up is Sofia, an Italian-Peruvian indie-rock-pop artist whose trilingual melodies (Italian, Spanish, English) dissolve language barriers. Her songs, born from emotional archaeology, resonate with universal truths. “Music helps me communicate feelings that words alone can’t,” she says. Joining her is Hell Chico, a Spanish-born guitarist and vocalist whose genre-hopping prowess spans jazz, flamenco, blues, and biting social commentary. With a voice as gritty as his humor, Hell Chico turns existential musings into anthems. Together, they embody the spirit of Spotlight Unplugged: raw, real, and ready to rise.
Cork-based Erin & The Lens will weave a spellbinding acoustic set, led by Erin Luna Gallagher’s haunting vocals and Billy Whelan’s soulful guitar. Erin’s lyrics—steeped in resilience, mental health, and mysticism—strike chords of recognition. Fresh off acclaim for their Single of the Week “Yellow Door,” their performance promises to be equal parts catharsis and connection.
No stranger to Dublin’s cobblestone stages, Aaron Bowden brings his genre-blurring grit to Out of Order. From busking through rainstorms to headlining sold-out venues, Aaron’s sound—a fusion of grunge, folk, and psychedelic rock—is as unapologetic as his journey. His debut single Circus Monkey Mind and upcoming EP signal an artist shedding the “busker” label to claim his place as a storyteller.
Closing the night is LaGalaxy, the Italian-born producer turning Dublin’s underground into a techno-trance wonderland. His sets—a hypnotic blend of pounding basslines and geometric visuals—are designed to ignite dancefloors. “I’ll play an old-school, electric set,” he grins. With eyes set on global festivals, LaGalaxy’s performance is a portal to the future of electronic music.
